Step 2.

Downloading MP3s with a PC or MAC
Once you have downloaded an album, you’ll need to extract or “unzip” the files before you can play, burn, or import them into your media player. The unzipping process will vary depending on what software you use to handle .zip files and what operating system you’re using. In most cases, simply double-clicking on a file will begin extracting the contents. In some cases you’ll be prompted to select a destination for the unzipped folder. Otherwise, it will typically be unzipped to the same root folder as the original .zip file.

Downloading MP3s on Apple iOS Devices
We highly recommend downloading your newly purchased albums to a PC or a MAC computer and using the process mentioned above for extracting and listening to your new music. If however you have no access to a computer and you are limited to using an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad to download your music you will discover that the standard iOS platform doesn’t include tools to unzip your album. That doesn’t mean you can’t open your new album though. It can be opened in iOS and with relative ease, however you will need to download a free third party app first. This will allow you view and extract all of the contents of any album providing quick access to the MP3s which can be saved locally or opened in another application of choice. iZip is one of the many free applications used for extracting zip files on iOS.

Downloading MP3s with Android Devices
The same is true for Android devices as it is for Apple iOS devices. The standard Android device may not include a tool to unzip your album. To view and extract all contents of any album you will need to download a free third party app available in the Android Play Store. We have used “ALZip – File Manager & Unzip” with success. Once installed, simply tap the file in your downloads folder.

Step 3.

Once the MP3 file is saved to your computer, you can double-click the file to open it and listen. You may also open your media player software (e.g. iTunes, Windows Media Player), choose the “Add to Library…” option to find the file(s) on your computer and click “Add.”
